Sliding Door Disassembly/Assembly: Notes

2008 Mazda 6 s Sport, 4D Hatchback, StandardSECTION Notes

  1. Lower or raise the rear door glass so that the distance from the top of the rear door glass at the rear end to the upper part of the rear beltline molding is 260 mm {10 in}.Β

  2. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  3. Remove the sliding door trim. (See SLIDING DOOR TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  4. To remove the rear door glass, remove the rear belting molding. (See REAR BELTLINE MOLDING REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  5. Disassemble in the order indicated in the illustration.

  6. Assemble in the reverse order of disassembly.
