Latch Release Actuator Removal/Installation

2008 Mazda 6 s Sport, 4D Hatchback, StandardSECTION Latch Release Actuator Removal/Installation

  1. Close the rear door glass completely.
  2. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  3. Remove the sliding trim.
  4. Remove the door screen. (See SLIDING DOOR LOCK AND OPENER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  5. Disconnect the sliding door lock actuator connector.
  6. Disconnect the rods and the cables.
  7. Remove the bolts, and remove the sliding remote controller.
  8. Disconnect the latch release actuator connector.
  9. Remove the screws, and remove the latch release actuator from the sliding door remote controller.
  10. Install in the reverse order of removal.
