Knock Sensor (KS) Removal/Installation

2008 Mazda 6 s Sport, 4D Hatchback, StandardSECTION Knock Sensor (KS) Removal/Installation

  1. Remove the intake manifold. (See INTAKE-AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  2. Remove the KS attachment bolt to remove the KS.
  3. Install in the reverse order of removal.

    Tightening torqueΒ 

    16.2-23.8 N.mΒ 

    {1.66-2.42 kgf.m, 12.0-17.5 ft.lbs}Β
