- Connect the M-MDS to the DLC-2.
- After the vehicle is identified, select the following items from the initial screen of the M-MDS.
- When using the IDS (laptop PC)
- Select the "Module Programming".
- When using the PDS (Pocket PC)
- Select "Programming".
- Select "Module Programming".
- When using the IDS (laptop PC)
- Then, select the "Programmable Module Installation", "PCM" from the screen menu.
- Select "PCM" and performance procedures according to the directions on the M-MDS screen.
- Retrieve DTC's by the M-MDS, then verify that there in no DTC present.
- If DTC is present, perform applicable DTC inspection. (See DTC TABLE [AJ] ).
