PINPOINT TEST 4 CRUISE CONTROL DOES NOT DISENGAGE WHEN THE CLUTCH IS APPLIED
STEP INSPECTION ACTION
1 CHECK THE CLUTCH PEDAL POSITION (CPP) SWITCH
  • Key in OFF position.
  • Disconnect: CPP switch 0119-03.
  • Measure the resistance between the CPP switch 0119-03 pin 4 (component side) and the CPP switch 0119-03 pin 3 (component side), while applying and releasing the clutch pedal.
  • Is the resistance less than 5 ohms with the clutch pedal released and greater than 10, 000 ohms with the clutch pedal applied?Β 
Yes Install a new cruise control servo. See CRUISE CONTROL SERVO REMOVAL / INSTALLATION . Test the system for normal operation. See SYMPTOM TROUBLESHOOTING CHART - CRUISE CONTROLΒ  .
No Install a new CPP switch.
