2006 Mazda B4000 Base, AutomaticSECTION Water Temperature Sending Unit Removal / Installation - 4.0L
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. See BATTERY DISCONNECT .
  2. Partially drain the cooling system. See ENGINE COOLANT REPLACEMENT - 4.0LΒ  .

  3. Loosen the clamp and disconnect the air cleaner outlet tube.

  4. Loosen the fitting and disconnect the exhaust manifold-to-exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) valve tube.

  5. Remove the ignition coil bracket bolts.
