Removal and Installation
2006 Mazda B4000 Base, AutomaticSECTION Removal and Installation
- Remove the audio unit. For additional information see AUDIO UNIT .
- Remove the center instrument panel finish panel.
- Remove the 2 screws.
- Disconnect the electrical connectors.
- Remove the 2 bolts and position aside the hood latch release handle.
- Remove the 2 screws and remove the instrument panel steering column cover.
- Remove the 5 bolts and the lower instrument panel reinforcement.
- To install, tighten to 7 N-m (0.7 kgf-m, 62 in-lbf).
- If equipped, position the column-mounted transmission range selector lever to the lowest position.
- Remove the instrument cluster finish panel.
- Remove the 5 screws.
- Disconnect the electrical connectors.
- Remove the 2 screws and the instrument panel dimmer switch.
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
