PINPOINT TEST 3: POOR QUALITY/NO SOUND FROM ONE OR MORE SPEAKERS (NOT ALL SPEAKERS)
Normal Operation
The audio unit directs the audio signals to the speakers through separate positive and negative circuits for each of the 4 audio channels: LH front, RH front, LH rear, and RH rear. The audio unit provides internal circuit protection for shorts to ground, shorts to voltage, and shorts between any output circuits.
Possible Causes
- Circuit (GY/LB) open, short to ground or voltage
- Circuit (T/Y) open, short to ground or voltage
- Circuit (O/R) open, short to ground or voltage
- Circuit (BR/P) open, short to ground or voltage
- Circuit (O/LG) open, short to ground or voltage
- Circuit (W/LG) open, short to ground or voltage
- Circuit (DG/O) open, short to ground or voltage
- Circuit (LB/W) open, short to ground or voltage
