(For 3.0L vehicles with PCMs that have tear tag numbers of JYB2 or JYB3. For all other PCM tear tag numbers, see PROCEDURE 2Β .)
NOTE:
- When replacing a powertrain control module (PCM), the following items are required:
- WDS or equivalent tester with B18 or later software loaded.
- Minimum two ignition keys for reprogramming PATS (be sure to ask customer for ALL spare keys).
- Obtain new PCM part number AJ08-18-881F.
- With old PCM still in vehicle follow procedure below.
