Without Using New Generation Star (NGS) Scan Tool
With ignition switch turned to OFF position, connect a jumper wire between DLC-1 terminal No. 13 and chassis ground. See Figure . Turn ignition switch to ON position (engine off). After ABS warning light illuminates for 3 seconds, ABS warning light will flash, indicating DTCs in memory. See Fig 1 . If any DTCs are present, see DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE IDENTIFICATION table. Perform appropriate diagnostic test. See DIAGNOSTIC TESTS . Clear DTCs after servicing. See CLEARING CODES .

When to See a Mechanic
