Abs Control Module
ABS CM is located on left side of engine compartment. Unless indicated otherwise, test with engine operating at idle and ABS CM connector connected. Measure voltage between ground and appropriate ABS CM connector terminal. See Figure . If voltage is not as specified, check suspect component listed under ACTION. If components are okay, replace ABS CM.

When to See a Mechanic
Stop DIY work and contact a certified mechanic immediately if any of the following apply:

- • Brakes feel soft, pull hard to one side, or make grinding noises.
- • The engine overheats, stalls repeatedly, or misfires under load.
