- Follow the following procedure when installing a new clip.
- Remove the faulty clip.
- Clean and degrease the area of the roof panel where the clip will be affixed.
- If the temperature is less than 20 °C {68 °F}, warm the clip installation surface to 20 °C-40 °C {68-104 °F} using a hot air blower.
- Peel off the backing of the double-sided adhesive tape of the clip.
- Install the clip by pressing it on the vehicle.
- Remove section A of the clip.
