Roof Molding Installation: Notes

  1. Follow the following procedure when installing a new clip.
    1. Remove the faulty clip.
    2. Clean and degrease the area of the roof panel where the clip will be affixed.
    3. If the temperature is less than 20 Β°C {68 Β°F}, warm the clip installation surface to 20 Β°C-40 Β°C {68-104 Β°F}Β  using a hot air blower.
    4. Peel off the backing of the double-sided adhesive tape of the clip.
    5. Install the clip by pressing it on the vehicle.

    6. Remove section A of the clip.

When to See a Mechanic
