Headliner Removal/Installation

- Disconnect the negative battery cable.
- Partially peel back the seaming welt.
- Remove the following parts:
- Roof side trim (See ROOF SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATIONΒ .)
- Sunroof seaming welt (vehicles with sunroof)
- A-pillar trim (See A-PILLAR TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATIONΒ .)
- Rear seat (See REAR SEAT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Inner scuff plate (See INNER SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATIONΒ .)
- Tire house trim (See TIRE HOUSE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATIONΒ .)
- Rear pillar trim (See REAR PILLAR TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATIONΒ .)
- Map light (See MAP LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Interior light (See INTERIOR LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Sunvisor (See SUNVISOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATIONΒ .)
- Assist handle (See ASSIST HANDLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATIONΒ .)
- Disconnect the roof wiring harness connector and remove the roof wiring harness connector clip from the body.
- Remove the fasteners.
- Detach the tab from the roof panel and remove the headliner.
- Take the headliner out from the opened passenger-side door.
- Install in the reverse order of removal.
