Liftgate Lower Trim Removal/Installation

1999 Mazda 626 ES, 2.5 D, StandardSECTION Liftgate Lower Trim Removal/Installation

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the liftgate upper trim.
  3. Remove the liftgate side trim.
  4. Remove the cargo compartment light.
  5. Remove the liftgate lower trim installation fasteners.
  6. Remove the pull handle installation screws.
  7. Remove the pull handle.
  8. Pull the liftgate lower trim forward to disengage clips A and pins B from the body, and remove the liftgate lower trim.
  9. Install in the reverse order of removal.
