DTC P0125: Excessive Time To Enter Closed Loop: Condition

1999 Mazda 626 ES, 2.5 D, StandardSECTION Condition

DTC is set when engine coolant temperature has not increased after engine is started and default period of time has passed. Possible causes for this fault are:

  • Insufficient engine warm-up time.
  • Thermostat leaking or stuck open.
  • Low coolant.

Repair cooling system as necessary. Clear PCM memory, and repeat QUICK TESTΒ .
