Ensure vehicle engine coolant (ECT) PID is less than 170Β°F (76Β°C) and fuel level (FLI) PID is at least 15 percent. monitor period will start 5 minutes after engine is started. Connect scan tool. Warm engine to operating temperature 175-240Β°F (80-115Β°C). Drive vehicle at a steady speed above 30 MPH for at least 2 minutes. Stop vehicle. Using scan tool, check drive mode completion status. If test is not complete, turn ignition off. Repeat test from point after warm up. If test is complete, check test results. If results are okay, ensure no DTCs are present. If results are not okay, repairs are not complete.
