Trunk Lid Cancel Switch

1999 Mazda 626 ES, 2.5 D, StandardSECTION Trunk Lid Cancel Switch

Remove trunk lid cancel switch. With cancel switch in ON position, check for continuity between switch terminals "A" and "B". See Fig 1 . Continuity should exist. Turn switch to OFF position and recheck continuity. Continuity should not exist. If continuity is not as specified, replace trunk lid cancel switch.
