On-Demand Self-Test: Notes

1995 Mazda B4000 SE, 2D Pickup, StandardSECTION Notes

Connect New Generation Star (NGS) tester to Data Link Connector (DLC). DLC is located under left side of instrument panel, next to steering column. Ensure the following conditions are met:

  • All doors closed.
  • Ignition switch in RUN position.
  • Multifunction switch in OFF position and wipers parked.
  • Headlights off.
  • All windows in up position.
  • All switches off.
  • Driver's seat belt unbuckled.

Follow operating instructions from NGS tester menu and perform ON-DEMAND SELF-TEST. Note any Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC) that are present.
