Steering Gear: Removal
1995 Mazda B2300 Base, 2D Pickup, RWD, AutomaticSECTION Removal
- Disconnect pressure and return lines at power steering gear. Cap lines and ports to prevent contamination. Remove "U" joint shield from flex coupling. Remove flex coupling bolt. Raise and support vehicle.
- Remove pitman arm nut and washer. Using Pitman Arm Puller (T64P-3590-F ), remove pitman arm from steering gear. Remove steering gear-to-frame bolts. Work steering gear free of flex coupling. Remove steering gear from vehicle.
