Faults in MAF sensor or circuit should set a service code. See appropriate TESTS W/CODES
article.
Visually check MAF sensor for damage. Connect New Generation Star scan tester to data link connector. Select PID/DATA monitor. Select MAF sensor. Replace sensor if voltage readings are not as specified. See MAF SENSOR VOLTAGESΒ table.
