Oil Pump: Installation
1993 Mazda MPV Base, 3D Van Wagon, 2.6 1SECTION Installation
- Coat all components with oil. Install rotors, ensuring alignment marks are aligned and positioned toward pump cover. Apply Loctite to oil pump cover bolts and tighten.
- Apply engine oil to NEW oil seal and install. Apply sealant to pump sealing surfaces and install. Ensure sealant does not enter oil passage. To complete installation, reverse removal procedure.
