Accelerated Warm-Up Solenoid Valve

  1. Disconnect air by-pass solenoid valve connector. Using ohmmeter, check resistance between solenoid valve terminals. Resistance should be 9.3-11.3 ohms.
  2. Apply battery voltage and ground to valve terminals. Listen for operating sound from valve. Replace valve if resistance is not within specification or no operating sound exists.
