Intake Air THERMOSENSOR

1991 Mazda RX-7 Base, 2D Coupe, AutomaticSECTION Intake Air THERMOSENSOR

Remove intake air thermosensor. See Figure , Figure & Fig 1 . Using a heat lamp, ohmmeter and thermometer, measure resistance of sensor at various temperatures. See INTAKE AIR TEMPERATURE SENSOR RESISTANCE SPECIFICATIONS  table. Replace sensor if not within specification.
