Inhibitor Switch (A/T) Testing

1991 Mazda RX-7 Base, 2D Coupe, AutomaticSECTION Inhibitor Switch (A/T) Testing

Remove connector from switch. Connect ohmmeter to appropriate switch terminals. See Fig 1 . Continuity should exist with gearshift in Park and Neutral. No continuity should exist in any other ranges. If switch does not perform as indicated, replace switch.
