- With engine at normal operating temperature, inspect all hose connections and belt tension.
- Stop engine. Disconnect line from air pump to air control valve at the valve. Install Pressure Gauge Set (49 2113 010B) to the line. See Fig 1 . Connect tachometer to engine.
- Start engine. Operate engine at idle and note pressure reading. Reading should exceed 1.7 psi (.12 kg/cm2 ). Replace pump if not within specification.
