6-Port Induction System (Non-Turbo): Actuator

1991 Mazda RX-7 Base, 2D Convertible, StandardSECTION Actuator

Remove air hose from actuator and connect pressure gauge. See Fig 1 . Slowly apply low pressure compressed air to actuator and check operation. Actuator should be fully opened at 2.8 psi (0.2 kg/cm2 ). Replace actuator if it does not perform as indicated.
