Stall Speed Test: Testing

1991 Mazda Protege 4WD, AutomaticSECTION Testing

Firmly depress brake pedal with engine running. Select "R" range and depress accelerator pedal to floor. When engine speed no longer increases, read RPM on tachometer and release accelerator pedal. Perform stall test in "R" , "D", "S" and "L". Compare RPM with the STALL SPEEDΒ  table.
