Speedometer Sensor Test

1991 Mazda Protege 4WD, AutomaticSECTION Speedometer Sensor Test
  1. Disconnect negative battery cable. Disconnect speedometer sensor connector. Rotate front wheels and measure voltage between sensor terminals.
  2. If voltmeter does move, repair wiring harness between instrument cluster and speedometer sensor. See WIRING DIAGRAMSΒ  .
