- Visually inspect system. Check all electrical and vacuum connections. Repair as necessary. If all connections are okay, go to next step.
- Check all switches. See COMPONENT TESTINGΒ under DIAGNOSIS & TESTING. Service as necessary. If switches are okay, go to next step.
- Check servo. See SERVO TESTΒ under DIAGNOSIS & TESTING. Tap servo body lightly while testing. Replace servo if defective. If servo is okay, substitute known good amplifier, then go to next step.
- Check all electrical and vacuum connections. If no wiring or vacuum problems found, replace amplifier with known good unit.
