Oscillating Air Vent Does Not Work
1991 Mazda 929 BaseSECTION Oscillating Air Vent Does Not Work
- Turn ignition on. Turn blower switch and SWING switch on. See Figure . Disconnect OAV (swing) motor connector. Measure voltage between ground and OAV connector terminal A201. See Fig 1 .
- If about 12 volts are present, go to next step. If about 12 volts are not present, repair power supply circuit. Reconnect OAV (swing) motor connector. Measure voltage between ground and OAV connector terminal A9.
- If about .5 volt is present, replace OAV (swing) motor. If about .5 volt is not present, check continuity of circuit between control unit connector terminal A9 and OAV connector terminal A9. See Figure and Fig 1 . If there is no continuity, repair harness. If continuity exists, replace A/C control unit.
