System Testing: AAS-6

- Indicates failure of selection switch or wiring harness. To test, turn ignition off. Unplug selection switch connector. Turn ignition on. Check voltage between ground and Black/Yellow connector wire. If 12 volts is not present, replace METER fuse or repair wiring harness.
- Check voltage between ground and Black wire of harness. If voltage is present, repair short to voltage. If voltage is not present, check operation of selection switch. See AAS SELECTOR SWITCH TEST.
- If switch does not operate , replace switch. If switch operates correctly, check for continuity between terminal "D" (Black/Red wire) at control unit and terminal "D" on selection switch. If continuity does not exist, repair harness. If continuity exist, replace control unit.
