Clutch Master Cylinder Removal & Installation

- Disconnect flexible hose at clutch master cylinder. Remove blower air duct from below instrument panel (if necessary). On Protege and 323, disconnect battery cables. Remove battery hold-down and battery.
- On all models, remove master cylinder-to-firewall nuts. Remove clutch master cylinder. To install, reverse removal procedure. Bleed hydraulic system at clutch release cylinder.
