- Connect voltmeter to terminal "H" (Brown/Black wire) of carburetor connector. See Figure . Increase engine speed to 3000 RPM. Lift idle switch arm. See Figure .
- With engine speed greater than 2500 RPM, voltmeter should read 12 volts. With engine speed 1400-2500 RPM, voltmeter should read less than 1.5 volt. With engine speed less than 1400 RPM, voltmeter should read 12 volts.
- If voltmeter readings are not as specified, check ECU connector terminal 2H and coasting richer solenoid valve.
