  1. Connect voltmeter to terminal "H" (Brown/Black wire) of carburetor connector. See Figure . Increase engine speed to 3000 RPM. Lift idle switch arm. See Figure .
  2. With engine speed greater than 2500 RPM, voltmeter should read 12 volts. With engine speed 1400-2500 RPM, voltmeter should read less than 1.5 volt. With engine speed less than 1400 RPM, voltmeter should read 12 volts.
  3. If voltmeter readings are not as specified, check ECU connector terminal 2H and coasting richer solenoid valve.
