Carry Out On-Board Diagnostics Key ON Engine OFF (KOEO), Key ON Engine Running (KOER)
After a road test, with the vehicle warm and before disconnecting any connectors, carry out the Quick Test using a suitable diagnostic scan tool. Refer to the Introduction - Gasoline Engines for diagnosis and testing of the powertrain control system.

When to See a Mechanic
Stop DIY work and contact a certified mechanic immediately if any of the following apply:

- • Brakes feel soft, pull hard to one side, or make grinding noises.
- • The engine overheats, stalls repeatedly, or misfires under load.
- • You are missing required tools, torque specs, or safe lifting equipment.
