DESCRIPTION
The display and navigation module display and the network gateway ECU are connected by the AVC-LAN communication line.
When an AVC-LAN communication error occurs between the display and navigation module display and the network gateway ECU, these DTCs will be stored.
HINT
* *1: Even if no fault is present, this DTC may be stored depending on the battery condition or engine start voltage.
* The display and navigation module display is the master unit.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE
PROCEDURE
1. CHECK OPTIONAL COMPONENTS (INCLUDING ASSOCIATED WIRING)
(a) Check for optional components.
(1) Check that optional components (including associated wiring) which generate radio waves are not installed.
Result:
HINT
* Electrical noise from radio waves generated by optional components or the wiring for those components may affect AVC-LAN communication.
* This DTC may be stored when an AVC-LAN communication error occurs due to electrical noise.
B -- CHECK DTC
A -- Continue to next step.
2. REMOVE OPTIONAL COMPONENTS (INCLUDING ASSOCIATED WIRING)
(a) Remove optional components (including associated wiring).
NOTICE:
Do not remove optional components or associated wiring without the permission of the customer.
NEXT -- Continue to next step.
3. CHECK DTC
(a) Clear the DTCs Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.
(b) Recheck for DTCs and check if the same DTC is output again.
OK:
No DTCs are output.
NG -- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (NETWORK GATEWAY ECU POWER SOURCE)
OK -- END
4. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (NETWORK GATEWAY ECU POWER SOURCE)
(a) Disconnect the K66 network gateway ECU connector.
(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance:
(c) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Voltage:
NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.
5. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (AVC-LAN COMMUNICATION LINE)
(a) Disconnect the K47 display and navigation module display connector.
(b) Disconnect the K66 network gateway ECU connector.
(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance:
NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.
6. REPLACE NETWORK GATEWAY ECU
(a) Replace the network gateway ECU Removal.
(b) Clear the DTCs Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.
(c) Recheck for DTCs and check if the same DTC is output again.
OK:
No DTCs are output.
NG -- REPLACE DISPLAY AND NAVIGATION MODULE DISPLAY Removal
OK -- END
