Power Seat Power Easy Access System Function does not Operate (To 8/2009): Procedure
- CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
- Use the Techstream to check if the CAN communication system is functioning normally. Refer to HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING

- CHECK FRONT POWER SEAT OPERATION
- Check that each function of the power seat operates normally by using the front power seat switch LH. Refer to OPERATION CHECK

- READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the power switch on (IG).
- Turn the Techstream on.
- Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Driver Seat / Data List.
- Read the Data List according to the display on the Techstream.DRIVER SEAT

- Check that the power seat easy access system operates normally when engaging and disengaging the tongue plate of the seatbelt with the shift lever in P. Refer to OPERATION CHECK

- Check that the power seat easy access system operates normally when engaging and disengaging the tongue plate of the seatbelt with the shift lever in P. Refer to OPERATION CHECK

- INSPECT FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY LH
- Remove the front seat inner belt assembly LH. Refer to REMOVAL .
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (FRONT POWER SEAT SWITCH LH - FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY LH)
- Disconnect the a8 connector from the front power seat switch LH.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

- REPLACE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY LH. Refer to REMOVAL
- REPLACE FRONT POWER SEAT SWITCH LH. Refer to REMOVAL
