SEAT: REAR NO. 2 SEAT ASSEMBLY (w/ Automatic Folding-up Function): REASSEMBLY

CAUTION:
Wear protective gloves. Sharp areas on the parts may injure your hands.

HINT
* Use the same procedures for the LH side and RH side.
* The procedures listed below are for the LH side.
1. INSTALL NO. 2 SEAT RECLINING RELEASE HANDLE SUB-ASSEMBLY





(a) Install the release handle with the bolt.

2. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK LOCK STRIKER COVER LH

(a) Attach the 2 clamps to install the cover.

3. INSTALL REAR NO. 2 SEATBACK COVER LH

(a) Attach the 3 claws to install the cover.

4. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK LOCK STRIKER ASSEMBLY LH





(a) Install the lock striker with the 2 nuts.

Torque : 14 Nm (143 kgf-cm, 10 ft-lbf)

5. INSTALL REAR NO. 2 SEAT WIRE LH





(a) Connect the 5 connectors and attach the 4 clamps to install the rear No. 2 seat wire LH.

6. INSTALL REAR SEAT LOCK CONTROL CABLE





(a) Attach the 2 clamps to install the lock control cable.

(b) Attach the cable clamp to connect the cable.

7. INSTALL REAR INNER SEAT RECLINING COVER LH





(a) Attach the claw to install the cover.

(b) Install the screw.

8. INSTALL REAR INNER SEAT RECLINING COVER RH

(a) Attach the claw to install the cover.

(b) Install the screw.

9. INSTALL NO. 3 SEATBACK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY LH





(a) Using hog ring pliers, install the seatback cover to the seatback pad with new hog rings.

NOTICE:
* Be careful not to damage the cover.
* When installing the hog rings, avoid wrinkling the cover.
10. INSTALL REAR SEAT HEADREST HANDLE

(a) Install the snap ring to the headrest handle.

(b) Install the headrest handle to the headrest.





11. INSTALL SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD

(a) Using hog ring pliers, install the seatback cover with pad to the seatback frame with a new hog ring.





(b) for LH Side:

(1) Attach the 8 claws to install the 4 headrest supports.





(2) Install the rear seat protector.

(c) for RH Side:

(1) Attach the 4 claws to install the 2 headrest supports.









(d) While releasing the lock inside the headrest support with a screwdriver, install the headrest.

HINT
Tape the screwdriver tip before use.





(e) Attach the clamp.

(f) Attach the cable clamp to connect the cable.





(g) Install the seat protector.





(h) Insert the center headrest storage bag.





(i) Attach the 2 hooks.





(j) Close the fastener.

12. INSTALL REAR SEAT HINGE PAWL GUIDE





(a) Install the guide with the screw.

13. INSTALL REAR SEAT HINGE PAWL GUIDE





(a) Attach the 5 claws to install the guide.

14. INSTALL REAR LOWER SEATBACK LOCK BEZEL





(a) Attach the 3 claws and clip to install the seatback lock bezel.

15. INSTALL REAR NO. 2 SEATBACK CUSHION





(a) Install the seatback cushion with the screw.

16. INSTALL REAR SEAT LOCK CONTROL LEVER SUB-ASSEMBLY LH





(a) Install the lever with the 2 bolts.

Torque : 8.5 Nm (87 kgf-cm, 75 in-lbf)

17. INSTALL NO. 3 FOLD SEAT LOCK CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY

(a) Attach the 2 cable clamps to connect the 2 cables.





(b) Attach the 2 clamps and then install the 2 cables with the 2 bolts.

Torque : 8.0 Nm (82 kgf-cm, 71 in-lbf)





18. INSTALL NO. 2 SEAT STAY SUB-ASSEMBLY





(a) Install the seat stay with the bolt.

19. INSTALL NO. 3 SEAT CUSHION COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY LH





(a) Using hog ring pliers, install the seat cushion cover to the seat cushion pad with new hog rings.

NOTICE:
* Be careful not to damage the cover.
* When installing the hog rings, avoid wrinkling the cover.





(b) Attach the 4 clamps.

(c) Connect the 3 connectors.

(d) Install 2 new cable ties.





(e) Install the E-ring and attach the clamp.

(f) Attach the cable clamp and connect the cable.

20. INSTALL NO. 3 SEAT CUSHION PAD LH

21. INSTALL SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD

22. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION CARPET





(a) Install the seat cushion carpet with new tack pins.

23. INSTALL REAR NO. 2 SEAT INNER BELT SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation

24. INSTALL REAR SEAT OUTER BELT SUB-ASSEMBLY (for RH Side) Installation

25. INSTALL REAR SEAT INNER BELT SUB-ASSEMBLY (for LH Side) Installation

26. INSTALL REAR SEAT LOCK COVER LH





(a) Attach the 2 clamps to install the 2 covers.

(b) Install the 2 screws.

27. INSTALL NO. 3 SEAT LEG COVER NO. 2





(a) Attach the 4 claws to install the cover.

(b) Install the 2 screws.

28. INSTALL NO. 3 SEAT FRONT BRACKET COVER LH





(a) Attach the 4 claws to install the cover.

29. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION UNDER COVER LH

(a) Install the cover with the 8 screws.





(b) Attach the 16 claws.





30. INSTALL 3RD SEAT CUSHION LOCK COVER





(a) Attach the 4 claws to install the 2 covers.

31. INSTALL 3RD SEAT LINK SUB-ASSEMBLY LH





(a) Install the seat link with the bolt and nut.

Torque : 8.5 Nm (87 kgf-cm, 75 in-lbf)

32. INSTALL REAR SEAT INNER RECLINING COVER LH





(a) Attach the 2 claws to install the cover.

33. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER COVER RH





(a) Attach the 5 claws in the order shown in the illustration to install the cover.

(b) Install the screw.

34. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER COVER LH





(a) Attach the 3 claws in the order shown in the illustration to install the cover.

(b) Install the screw.

35. INSTALL NO. 2 SEAT LEG COVER NO. 2





(a) Install the seat leg cover with the screw.

36. INSTALL REAR NO. 3 SEAT LEG COVER LH

(a) Attach the 2 claws to install the seat leg cover.





(b) Install the 2 screws.

(c) Install the spring of the seat stay ball joint.





(d) Connect the seat stay to the seat frame.

37. INSTALL REAR SEAT REAR BRACKET COVER REAR

(a) Attach the 2 claws to install the cover.

38. INSTALL NO. 2 RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE LH





(a) Install the release handle with the screw.

39. INSTALL SEAT ADJUSTER BOLT COVER





(a) Attach the 2 claws to install the cover.

40. INSTALL REAR NO. 2 SEAT LEG BRACKET REAR LH





(a) Install the bracket with the bolt and nut.





(b) Attach the 4 clamps.

41. INSTALL FOLD SEAT CONTROL ECU





(a) Attach the 2 claws to install the ECU.

(b) Connect the 2 connectors.

42. INSTALL NO. 2 SEAT CUSHION COVER





(a) Attach the 2 claws to install the cover.

(b) Install the screw.

43. INSTALL POWER SEAT MOTOR SUB-ASSEMBLY





(a) Using a 5 mm hexagon socket wrench, install the motor with the 4 bolts.

Torque : 8.5 Nm (87 kgf-cm, 75 in-lbf)

(b) Connect the 2 connectors.
