Driver Side Seat Belt Warning Light does not Operate: Procedure
- CHECK FOR DTC
- Check for DTCs.RESULT:
Result Proceed to DTC is not output A CAN system DTC is output B Airbag system DTC is output C

A: Go to next step
- Check for DTCs.
- PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING TECHSTREAM
- Operate the Techstream according to the steps on the display and select "Active Test". Refer to DATA LIST / ACTIVE TEST .COMBINATION METER:
Tester Display Test Part Control Range Driver Side Seat Belt* Driver side seat belt warning light ON or OFF HINT:
*: Confirm that the vehicle is stopped with the engine idling.
OK
Driver side seat belt warning light condition can be switched by "Active Test".
NG → See step 7
OK: Go to next step
- Operate the Techstream according to the steps on the display and select "Active Test". Refer to DATA LIST / ACTIVE TEST .
- REPLACE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY LH
- Temporarily replace the front seat inner belt LH with a new one. Refer to REMOVAL .
NEXT: Go to next step
- CHECK DRIVER SIDE SEAT BELT WARNING LIGHT
- Check the driver side seat belt warning light function. Refer to OPERATION CHECK .
OK
Driver side seat belt warning light operates normally.
NG → See step 8
OK → END (FRONT SEAT INNER BELT LH IS DEFECTIVE)
- Check the driver side seat belt warning light function. Refer to OPERATION CHECK .
- Go to CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM. Refer to DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM
- Go to AIRBAG SYSTEM. Refer to DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART
- REPLACE NO. 1 METER ECU. Refer to REMOVAL
- REPLACE NO. 1 METER ECU. Refer to REMOVAL
