Rear Door RH Entry Lock Function does not Operate: Procedure
- CHECK POWER DOOR LOCK OPERATION
- When the master switch assembly's door control switch is operated, check that the locked doors unlock.RESULT

- When the master switch assembly's door control switch is operated, check that the locked doors unlock.
- READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM (DOOR LOCK POSITION SWITCH)
- Using the Techstream, read the Data List.REAR RIGHT DOOR (REAR DOOR ECU RH)
Tester Display Measurement Item/Display Normal Condition Lock Position SW Rear RH side door lock position switch signal / ON or OFF ON: Rear RH side door is unlocked
OFF: Rear RH side door is lockedOK
On the screen, item changes between ON and OFF according to above chart.
NG → See step 12
OK: Go to next step
- Using the Techstream, read the Data List.
- READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM (OUTSIDE HANDLE)
- Using the Techstream, read the Data List.REAR RIGHT DOOR (REAR DOOR ECU RH)
Tester Display Measurement Item/Display Normal Condition Outside Handle Trigger SW Rear RH side door outside handle lock switch / ON or OFF ON: Rear RH side door outside handle lock switch is pushed

- Using the Techstream, read the Data List.
- CHECK REAR DOOR ECU RH (OPERATION)
- Replace the rear door ECU RH with a new one or normally functioning one. Refer toCOMPONENTS .
- Check that the entry function operates normally.

OK → END (REAR DOOR ECU RH IS DEFECTIVE)
- INSPECT REAR DOOR OUTSIDE HANDLE RH
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance
Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition c1-3 (TRG+) - c1-1 (TRG-) ON Below 1 Ω c1-3 (TRG+) - c1-1 (TRG-) OFF 10 kΩ or higher
NG → See step 11
OK: Go to next step
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (REAR DOOR OUTSIDE HANDLE RH - REAR DOOR ECU RH)

- Disconnect the c1 handle connector.
- Disconnect the O3 ECU connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition c1-3 (TRG+) - O3-20 (TRG+) Always Below 1 Ω c1-3 (TRG+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK: Go to next step
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (REAR DOOR OUTSIDE HANDLE RH - DOOR ELECTRICAL KEY OSCILLATOR)

- Disconnect the c1 handle connector.
- Disconnect the c2 oscillator connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition c1-1 (TRG-) - c2-9 (TRG-) Always Below 1 Ω c1-1 (TRG-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK: Go to next step
- CHECK DOOR ELECTRICAL KEY OSCILLATOR (OPERATION)
- Replace the door electrical key oscillator with a new one or normally functioning one. Refer toCOMPONENTS .
- Check that the entry function operates normally.

- CHECK REAR DOOR ECU RH (OPERATION)

- GO TO POWER DOOR LOCK CONTROL SYSTEM. Refer to PRECAUTION

- GO TO POWER DOOR LOCK CONTROL SYSTEM (Proceed to Only Rear Door RH LOCK/UNLOCK Functions do not Operate). Refer to PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
