To reset OIL MAINT REQD reminder light after engine oil change:
- Turn ignition ON, with engine OFF.
- Push the ODO TRIP switch in the switch box (box flips out on left side of instrument panel) to change the display to blank.
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Hold down trip meter RESET switch and then turn ignition switch ON.
- Hold down the RESET switch for more than 7 seconds after ignition switch has been turned ON.
- The master warning light should come ON, a warning tone should sound, and the multi-information display will show a message informing that engine oil maintenance data has been reset.
