Rear Seat Assembly: Removal
2007 Lexus ES 350SECTION Removal
- REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY
- Detach the 2 front hooks of the rear seat cushion assembly from the vehicle body.NOTE: Follow the instructions below carefully as the cushion frame deforms easily.
- Choose a hook to detach first. Place your hands near the hook as shown in the illustration. Then lift the seat cushion to detach the hook.
- Repeat for the other hook.
- Detach the 2 rear hooks of the seat cushion from the seatback.
- Remove the seat cushion.
- Detach the 2 front hooks of the rear seat cushion assembly from the vehicle body.
- REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY
- REMOVE REAR SEAT CENTER HEADREST ASSEMBLY
- REMOVE REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY
- Using a screwdriver, detach the claws to open the caps of the rear seat shoulder belt guide RH.
- Remove the 3 screws and rear seat shoulder belt guide RH.
HINT:
- Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
- Use the same procedure for the LH side and RH side
- Using a screwdriver, detach the claw to open the cap of the rear seat shoulder belt guide.

Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
- Remove the 2 screws and rear seat shoulder belt guide.
- Remove the 4 bolts and rear seatback assembly.
- Detach the 3 upper hooks of the rear seatback assembly from the vehicle body.
