Steering Pad Switch: Removal

2007 Lexus ES 350SECTION Removal
  1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
    CAUTION: Wait for 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable to prevent airbag deployment (See AIRBAG SYSTEM ).
  2. REMOVE LOWER NO. 3 STEERING WHEEL COVER  (See REMOVAL )
  3. REMOVE LOWER NO. 2 STEERING WHEEL COVER  (See REMOVAL )
  4. REMOVE STEERING PAD  (See REMOVAL )
  5. REMOVE STEERING PAD SWITCH ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disconnect the pad switch connector from the spiral cable.
    2. Remove the 2 screws.
    3. Disengage the 4 claws and remove the steering pad switch assembly.
