Steering Pad Switch: Removal
2007 Lexus ES 350SECTION Removal
- DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL CAUTION: Wait for 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable to prevent airbag deployment (See AIRBAG SYSTEM ).
- REMOVE LOWER NO. 3 STEERING WHEEL COVER (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE LOWER NO. 2 STEERING WHEEL COVER (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE STEERING PAD (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE STEERING PAD SWITCH ASSEMBLY
- Disconnect the pad switch connector from the spiral cable.
- Remove the 2 screws.
- Disengage the 4 claws and remove the steering pad switch assembly.
