Air Conditioning Amplifier:
AIR CONDITIONER AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY
REMOVAL
1. REMOVE CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
2. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH
3. REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIM RH SUB-ASSEMBLY
4. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER NO.2 SUB-ASSEMBLY
5. REMOVE GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSEMBLY
6. REMOVE HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL ECU
7. REMOVE AIR CONDITIONER AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY
a. Disconnect the connectors.
b. Remove the 2 nuts and air conditioner amplifier assembly.
INSTALLATION
1. INSTALL AIR CONDITIONER AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY
a. Install the air conditioner amplifier assembly with the 2 nuts.
2. INSTALL HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL ECU
3. INSTALL GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSEMBLY
4. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER NO.2 SUB-ASSEMBLY
5. INSTALL SIDE TRIM RH SUB-ASSEMBLY
6. INSTALL FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH
7. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
8. PERFORM INITIALIZATION
NOTE: Some systems need initialization when disconnecting the cable from the negative battery terminal.
