REMOVAL
1. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE LH COVER
2. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM COVER SIDE
3. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL
4. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP W/ INLET
5. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CASE W/ RESONATOR
6. REMOVE CAMSHAFT TIMING OIL CONTROL VALVE ASSEMBLY (for Bank 1)

a. Disconnect the oil control valve connector.
b. Remove the bolt and oil control valve.
7. REMOVE CAMSHAFT TIMING OIL CONTROL VALVE ASSEMBLY (for Bank 2)

a. Disconnect the oil control valve connector.
b. Remove the bolt and oil control valve.
INSTALLATION
1. INSTALL CAMSHAFT TIMING OIL CONTROL VALVE ASSEMBLY (for Bank 1)

a. Apply a coat of engine oil to an O-ring of the sensor.
b. Install the camshaft timing oil control valve with the bolt.
Torque: 8.0 N.m (82 kgf.cm, 71 in.lbf)
c. Connect the camshaft timing oil control valve connector.
2. INSTALL CAMSHAFT TIMING OIL CONTROL VALVE ASSEMBLY (for Bank 2)

a. Apply a coat of engine oil to an O-ring of the sensor.
b. Install the camshaft timing oil control valve with the bolt.
Torque: 8.0 N.m (82 kgf.cm, 71 in.lbf)
Connect the camshaft timing oil control valve connector.
3. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CASE W/ RESONATOR
4. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP W/ INLET
5. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL
6. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM COVER SIDE
7. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE LH COVER
1. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE LH COVER
2. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM COVER SIDE
3. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL
4. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP W/ INLET
5. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CASE W/ RESONATOR
6. REMOVE CAMSHAFT TIMING OIL CONTROL VALVE ASSEMBLY (for Bank 1)
a. Disconnect the oil control valve connector.
b. Remove the bolt and oil control valve.
7. REMOVE CAMSHAFT TIMING OIL CONTROL VALVE ASSEMBLY (for Bank 2)
a. Disconnect the oil control valve connector.
b. Remove the bolt and oil control valve.
INSTALLATION
1. INSTALL CAMSHAFT TIMING OIL CONTROL VALVE ASSEMBLY (for Bank 1)
a. Apply a coat of engine oil to an O-ring of the sensor.
b. Install the camshaft timing oil control valve with the bolt.
Torque: 8.0 N.m (82 kgf.cm, 71 in.lbf)
c. Connect the camshaft timing oil control valve connector.
2. INSTALL CAMSHAFT TIMING OIL CONTROL VALVE ASSEMBLY (for Bank 2)
a. Apply a coat of engine oil to an O-ring of the sensor.
b. Install the camshaft timing oil control valve with the bolt.
Torque: 8.0 N.m (82 kgf.cm, 71 in.lbf)
Connect the camshaft timing oil control valve connector.
3. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CASE W/ RESONATOR
4. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP W/ INLET
5. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL
6. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM COVER SIDE
7. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE LH COVER
