The monitor will run whenever the following DTCs are not present See LIST OF DISABLE A MONITOR 
Altitude Below 2,400 m (8,000 ft)
Battery voltage 11 V or more
Throttle position learning Completed
FTP sensor No malfunction
(Engine start IAT) - (Engine start ECT) -7 to 11.1°C (-12.6 to 20°F)
Purge VSV, CCV Not operated by scan tool
Either of the following condition 1 or 2 is met -
1. Purge duty cycle 6 % or more when intake air amount is 12 g/sec or more
2. Purge concentration for 30 seconds -5 %/% or more when vehicle speed is less than 10 km/h (6 mph)
Refuel during EVAP system monitor Not refueled with engine running
FTP before EVAP system monitor -1.7 kPa (12.75 mmHg) or more
P0456 (EVAP 0.02 INCH LEAK):

Engine start ECT 4.4 to 32°C (40 to 90°F)
Engine start IAT 4.4 to 32°C (40 to 90°F)
IAT 4.4°C (40°F) or more
Either of following condition A or B is met -
A. Vehicle speed change before EVAP system monitor when vehicle speed is 64 km/h (40mph) or more Vehicle is driven at steady speed for 15 seconds
B. Vehicle speed change before EVAP system monitor when vehicle speed is less than 64 km/h (40mph) Vehicle is driven at steady speed for 60 seconds
Fuel slosh No sloshing (i.e., fairly smooth road)
Time after engine start Below 50 minutes
FTP change before vacuum introduction Minimum change
Fuel tank level Below 90 %
0.04 inch leak Not detected
CCV malfunction Not detected
