Intake Air Control Valve ASSY No.2 (3MZ-FE): Replacement
2005 Lexus ES 330SECTION Replacement
- REMOVE INTAKE AIR CONTROL VALVE ASSY NO.2
- Remove the wire harness clamp.
- Disconnect the vacuum hose.
- Remove the 3 bolts and nut.
- Rotate the lever to the closed position as shown in the illustration, then pull out the intake air control valve No. 2.
- Remove the gasket from the intake air surge tank.
- INSTALL INTAKE AIR CONTROL VALVE ASSY NO.2
- Install a new gasket to the intake air surge tank.
- Install the intake air control valve No. 2 with the 3 bolts and nut.
- Torque: 10 N.m (102 kgf.cm, 7 ft.lbf)
- Connect the vacuum hose.
- Install the wire harness clamp.
