INSPECTION




1. INSPECT HEATER RESISTANCE OF HEATED OXYGEN SENSORS
a. Disconnect the oxygen sensor connector.
b. Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between terminal +B and HT.
Resistance: 11 - 16 Ohm at 20°C (68°F)

If the resistance is not as specified, replace the sensor.

Torque:
44 N.m (450 kgf.cm, 32 ft.lbf) for sensor 1
20 N.m (200 kgf.cm, 14 ft.lbf) for sensor 2

c. Reconnect the oxygen sensor connector.

2. INSPECT OPERATION OF HEATED OXYGEN SENSORS
