As part of general maintenance requirements for this vehicle, manufacturer requires checking for transmission fluid leaks.

Under severe conditions (vehicle is used primarily to tow a trailer or haul a car top carrier), manufacturer recommends inspecting transmission fluid every 30,000 miles to determine its condition and determine need for replacement. When to See a Mechanic
