  1. Fill reservoir. Note fluid level carefully. Idle engine at less than 1000 RPM. Rotate steering wheel to full lock, either left or right, and hold in position 2-3 seconds. Rotate steering wheel to other lock position, and hold in position 2-3 seconds.
  2. Repeat step 1) several times. Stop engine. Inspect fluid in reservoir. Fluid should not be foamy. Fluid level should not be more than .2" (5 mm) higher than that noted in step 1). Repeat procedure if necessary.
