Test No. 23: Abs Warning Indicator Abnormal Operation Or Does Not Illuminate
Disconnect instrument panel connector "D". Ground instrument panel cavity "D" terminal No. 6 and turn ignition on. See Figure. If ABS light illuminates, check Blue/White wire between instrument panel connector "D" terminal No. 6 and ABS & TRAC ECU. Repair as necessary. If wiring is okay, check ABS & TRAC ECU operation. See appropriate ANTI LOCK BRAKES article in BRAKES section. Repair or replace as necessary. If ABS light does not illuminate, check bulb. Replace as needed and retest. If light is okay, replace circuit plate and retest.
